The International Society for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (ISPCAN) has awarded membership to Youth Net and Counselling (YONECO) for its work in fighting against child abuse and neglect.
Commenting on the development YONECO’s Executive Director MacBain Mkandawire said the move is an indication that the organization’s work is being recognized internationally.
He further said this will also help them to intensify their efforts in dealing with issues of child abuse and neglect in the country.
International Society for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect is a multidisciplinary international organization that brings together a worldwide cross-section of committed professionals to work towards the prevention and treatment of child abuse, neglect and exploitation globally
